The Pit

What is unique about this micropub is everything it sells is brewed or made in it’s home county of Nottinghamshire. Sited in a cricket pavillion on the edge of Newtsead Abbey and surrounded by country park it is very popular with walkers and cyclists as well as the surrounding towns and villages. Designed in a retro Scandinavian style with a contemporary twist you are sure to feel at home here. Memorabilia from the surrounding area is great to peruse and board games freely available.

The Pit is open 6 days per week, holds quiz night on a Sunday, charity acoustic night on the first Thursday of the month and events on Sunday prior to bank holiday Mondays.
