Rainhill’s first Micropub, established September 2016.

Named after the historic Skew Bridge completed in 1829 by George Stephenson, to allow the Liverpool – Warrington turnpike to cross the newly built Liverpool to Manchester Railway at an angle of 34 degrees.

Fantastic addition to the area, 6 real ales 2 craft beers and a mix of real cider and perry.
On my visit the beer was served was in top condition and well presented, the biggest problem is deciding which drink to select.
If after a few beers you need a change there is an excellent selection of single malts on offer as well as the usual spirits and wine by the glass or bottle all at a reasonable price, there is even a selection of soft drinks some of which I have never seen on sale anywhere else. All in all well worth a visit.
