A  micropub which opened February 2016; the owner has worked in pubs in North Manchester and is the major shareholder in the Greyhound in Barnoldswick, but this is the first venture into Yorkshire. Named after the sitcom about a Manchester pub the landlord is most enthusiastic about. It’s no frills, no music, no WiFi and no food, just good beer and conversation. A long narrow room with a bar with 6 hand pumps, without fonts and other clutter on the bar. The beer range is mostly from local breweries or from Lancashire but looking to broaden the portfolio. The house beer, Barlick Bitter, is brewed by Worsthorne, the other regular beer is Moorhouses Blonde Witch and they always endeavour to have a dark beer. The real ales are all priced the same no matter what strength. The pub stocks a small range of foreign bottled beers. There is a small covered smoking area in the back yard.
